Woodland to Plate

So its bank holiday weekend and I'm out walking the dogs and come across a motherload of Wild Garlic (Allium ursinum). A quick use of a bag in my pocket, that most UK dog walkers carry and I have a bunch of wild garlic in my pocket. An hour later and I'm eating Gnocchi and wild garlic pesto for lunch. That is the beauty of foraging, when you can go from woodland to plate and taste the goodness that nature provides.
